How we work

No mystery. No drift.
No disappearing in July.

A deck is a 25-year decision made with a contractor you met last month. Our process is built to earn that trust with paper, drawings, and a schedule — not promises.

STEP 01 · FREE

The design visit

We come to you with a tape measure and good questions. How will you use the space — dinners, a hot tub, watching kids in the yard? We measure, check the grade and door heights, look at soil and access, and note anything that affects the build. About 45 minutes. No pressure, no salesman close.

STEP 02 · WITHIN A WEEK

Rendering & fixed proposal

You get a 3D rendering you can walk around on a screen, and an itemized proposal: decking, framing, footings sized and counted, railing by the linear foot, stairs, extras — each with its own line and price. Change anything you like on the drawing, where changes are free. When you sign, the number is fixed.

STEP 03 · SCHEDULED IN WRITING

Build week

We pull the permit, stage materials, and build — most decks in 3 to 6 working days. Footings poured below frost line and inspected. Site cleaned every evening; your yard is not a lumber yard. If weather moves the schedule, you hear it from us first.

STEP 04 · BEFORE FINAL PAYMENT

Walkthrough & warranty

We walk every board, rail, and stair with you against the rendering. You get a care guide for your decking material and our workmanship warranty in writing. Final payment happens when you're satisfied — not before.
